Gibbon Bridge HotelDining in style with Franklite

Franklite Creative Lighting supplied a number of its Baronial designer ironcraft fittings to the Gibbon Bridge Hotel in the Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.

Opened in 1982 by owner Janet Simpson, Gibbon Bridge Hotel is a luxurious 4 star hotel which provides superior accommodation and facilities set in 20 acres of award winning gardens. Internally the hotel seamlessly combines old world charm with Gothic features to provide a distinctive yet unforgettable ambiance.

At the heart of Gibbon Bridge is their increasingly popular restaurant which includes a conservatory area for dining and larger functions where a selection of Franklite’s Baronial fittings have been installed to complement and enhance the Gothic style décor. Baronial combines an antique bronze finish brushed with subtle gold highlights to create a contemporary look to the medieval forged style fittings. The main focus for the lighting is a series of 12 light chandeliers which provide central lighting above the tables. With a maximum drop of 2.38m and a diameter of 930mm the chandeliers are ideal focal points for high ceilings in this restaurant. Beautifully crafted Baronial torcheres with scavo effect glasses complete the room’s illumination by providing a subtle distribution of light over the whole dining area.

Franklite Creative Lighting has an extensive range of decorative and architectural lighting reflecting both traditional and innovative designs suitable to complement any interior scheme. As well as manufacturing and supplying a wide range of fittings, Franklite also provides a consultancy and advice service for lighting specification.
