Haydock Park picks a winner

Franklite Creative Lighting’s fittings have been specified to illuminate the conservatory area of the new Jubilee Lounge at Haydock Park Racecourse.

The Jubilee Lounge’s conservatory is a seafood and champagne bar which caters for the public on race days. The spacious structure which adjoins Haydock Park’s Tommy Whittle Stand was designed by architects Lockside Design Partnership of Stockport. In keeping with its modern design, and to compliment the traditional interior the architects specified fittings from Franklite’s Asti suite, part of the company’s unique range of quality modern lighting.

The Asti suite is a modern Italian design comprising a combination of gold and satin nickel finish metalwork with satin opal glass bowls. The suite includes a fixed ceiling fitting, a wall bracket and two types of chandelier, one with five glass bowls and the other, a two-tier chandelier with eleven glass bowls. There is also a table lamp and Floor lamp to match. The larger chandelier has a minimum drop of 810mm and a maximum of 1250mm, a height of 630mm, a diameter of 860mm and weighs 6.6 Kgs. The smaller chandelier has a minimum drop of 670mm and a maximum of 1055mm, a height of 475mm, a diameter of 660mm and weighs 3.7 Kgs. The wall bracket is 160mm high, 205mm wide with a projection of 240mm. The fixed ceiling fitting is 410mm high, 660mm wide and weighs 3.1 Kgs. All fittings take 60W E14 golf ball lamps.
