Hilton London Kensington accommodates stylish lighting from Franklite

Franklite Creative Lighting has supplied a range of its decorative fittings to the exclusive Imbue restaurant at the Hilton Hotel in Kensington, London.

Bordering Notting Hill, in the exclusive West London residential area of Holland Park, the Hilton London Kensington has a choice of two restaurants for guests and visitors to dine at. The Zen restaurant has a relaxed and informal atmosphere whereas the Imbue restaurant allows diners to enjoy the best of international cuisine in relaxed and very elegant surroundings.

In keeping with the elegant design of Imbue, torchere fittings from Franklite’s modern Merlin Suite have been installed to complement the contemporary interior design scheme. Merlin comprises a selection of modern Italian fittings finished in satin silver with acid cone glasses. The complete suite includes three wall bracket designs including a torchere, an elegant standard lamp and two beautifully crafted ceiling pendants with a choice of either three or five acid cone glasses. Each torchere has a height of 775mm, a width of 120mm, a projection of 325mm and is fitted with a single 60w E14 candle lamp.

The torcheres have been installed on both the walls and columns within the dining space and this method of installation helps to distribute a subtle light over the whole dining area. This adds to what the Hilton describes on its website as the relaxed and romantic atmosphere of the restaurant.
