Yorkshire Hotel
Illuminating the Yorkshire
A selection of Franklite Creative Lighting’s fittings from the Adagio and Lyric suites have been installed in the Yorkshire Hotel, Harrogate (formerly the Imperial).
The Yorkshire Hotel stands in the heart of the North Yorkshire Spa Town and is owned by Crerar Hotels of Edinburgh. The company describes the hotel as having a charm and style all of its own as well as exuding a sense of luxury and grandeur. In keeping with this, the Yorkshire Hotel’s interior design scheme created in conjunction with Davidson & Company Interiors Ltd. combines the traditional feel with modern fittings to great effect.
In keeping with the design scheme, forty torcheres from Franklite’s modern Adagio suite have been installed in both the dining and lounge areas as well as six ceiling fittings from its unique Lyric suite in the lounge. The torcheres comprise quality satin nickel with satin opal glass. Each is wall mounted and has a height of 1300mm, is 200mm wide and has a projection from the wall of 240mmm.
The Lyric ceiling fittings are finished in satin and polished nickel with compact satin glass tubes. These hold 20W low voltage halogen lamps and have integral transformers. Each fitting has a diameter of 820mm, a minimum height of 460mm and a maximum height of 680mm, which can be selected prior to installation only.
